This comic was inspired by Anna Mckee's photo entry on her blog titled "Gas bubbles in small section of ice core". Anna is a visual artist from Seattle WA who is in Antarctica to document the WAIS Divide Ice Core Project with support from the National Science Foundation Artists and Writers Program.
