This comic was inspired by Anna McKee and Thomas Bauska who both discuss their adventures in "Snow School" on their blogs noted above. "It looks like everyone always has fun at "Happy Camper School"", as Thomas calls it, "while still well aware of the serious ramifications for not knowing basic survivor skills in the harsh Antarctic environment".
